The one-eyed squirrel and the Peanut treasure
Two years ago, I participated in the "National Doodle Day" campaign organized by the Epilepsy Action Foundation. This campaign involves donating one or two hand-drawn postcards, which are auctioned off to raise funds for the foundation.

This year, I have created two illustrations, one of which is inspired by a squirrel that used to visit the peanut feeder in our home. This squirrel had a damaged eye, and when it first appeared, it was evident that the injury was recent. However, over time, it healed and continued to come to the feeder. For months, we watched it and grew fond of its visits. In honour of this squirrel, we created this character and a short story about its adventures in search of its peanut treasure.

After sending the postcards, I decided to create this digital illustration to immortalize the story.
