Nicole Álvarez is a Latin American illustrator and member of SCBWI.
She studied Illustration and later pursued an Educational degree in Visual Arts, driven by her desire to share the joy of art with others. She imparted art lessons in a Secondary and SEND school for over ten years, now she is a full-time illustrator.

Drawn to Kidlit illustration projects, picture books and licencing. She aims her illustrations to bring peace, hope and joy, she loves to draw animals and nature and illustrations about her Christian belief. Deeply admirer of the work of Beatrix Potter, Shaun Tan, David Wiesner and Sha'an d'Anthes.
For her, creativity knows no bounds, whether crafting characters through felting, weaving her first amigurumi or exploring new places and sketching landscapes or food.
