International Women's day
With the commemoration of International Women's Day,
I wanted to make a portrait of an illustrator who I admire: Beatrix Potter.
The technique used is gouache, maintaining the colour palette which is characteristic of Potter's watercolours and books, especially the use of blue outline, due to the inks used by the publishing houses in her time.
